Race reports

Nines Regatta

M1 - Hugo Macklin

Champs Head

M1 - Will Handy

Head of the Cam

A strong start to the term for LMBC, as M2, W2, M3 and W3 were all fastest in their categories, with M1 and W1 coming in a close third.

M1

M1 at the Head of the River Race

M1 finish 112th in the biggest Head Race of the year, and were the 2nd fastest college, as they finish off the Lent Term with a strong row.

HORR, the main head race of the season for senior crews, provided an opportunity for the crew to race over a longer distance - 6.8km - compared with the shorter bumps course. Having had a variety of rows during Lent bumps, the crews focus was on delivering a strong race and hopefully a top 100 finish.

W1 win Women's Novice Eights at Kingston Head!

Yesterday saw W1 and W2 catching a coach to London at 6am to race in London at Kingston Head. We were unfortunate not to be able to race at WEHoRR this year due to it clashing with bumps so did Kingston Head as an alternative. Kingston Head is a 5.2km race downstream from Hampton Court Palace to Kingston Rowing Club. Everyone was excited to race off-Cam, especially those who had never done it before, and we were looking forward to an opportunity to build on this term's good results.
